Competition Dance

Teamwork makes the dream work. We focus on training dancers not only to be great technicians, but also upstanding young people who can work well with others and understand the value of teamwork. At The Movement Dance Studio, we provide a positive learning experience that is not based solely on winning awards; instead, we promote dancers to use their talents to the best of their abilities. We want every child to be proud of who they are! We foster the love that our dancers have for performing and give them the opportunity to compete and excel on stage alongside their friends and teammates. This program is for the students who want to get the most out of their dance training! Our competitive dancers spend several hours a week in technique classes and rehearsals. Our teams compete from January to late spring, with nationals in the summer! Dancers must first go through a 2-hour audition process at a designated date.
